Bond Dental London is the flagship of a boutique group of five central London practices founded by Dr Kev Patel, set in the Marylebone medical district where a dental surgery has operated since the 1930s. Two things separate it from the private-only surgeries around it: Diamond provider status for Invisalign®, and care delivered both privately and on the NHS.

Treatments and services

General care spans prevention, hygiene, mouth cancer screening, fillings, inlays and onlays, crowns, bridges, dentures, root canal treatment and extractions. Straightening is the house speciality — Invisalign® aligners and Damon braces — feeding into veneers, composite bonding and whitening as a minimally invasive makeover. Implants run from single teeth to All-on-4 and All-on-6 arches, with gum grafting, periodontics and prosthodontics in house, alongside facial aesthetics, the Bond Dental Kids stream and emergency appointments.

Technology

An iTero scanner replaces impression trays, builds the 3D model that Invisalign® planning and its SmartTrack™ aligners are cut from, and previews the outcome before treatment begins. CEREC designs and mills a crown, inlay or onlay on site, so it is fitted in a single visit with no temporary in between. Hygiene appointments use Airflow® instead of scraping.

The team

Founder Dr Kev Patel qualified from King’s College London Dental Institute in 2012, holds BDS (Lond) and MJDF RCS (Eng), and belongs to the Faculty of Dental Surgery at the Royal College of Surgeons of England. His clinical interest is minimally invasive makeovers: straighten first, restore second.
