Opened in 2014 as a single surgery run by Dr Anna Olczak, tooth now occupies two premises a short walk apart: the newer and larger for examinations, hygiene and aesthetic work, the original rebuilt as the tooth specialist dental centre. The second building is the unusual part — a referral centre taking in cases sent by other dentists for microscope endodontics, surgical wisdom teeth, implants, bone grafting and periodontal surgery.

Treatments and services

Everyday care: new-patient examinations, hygiene from a scale and polish through to root surface debridement, white fillings, crowns and bridges, and same-day emergency appointments. Whitening: the Enlighten system. Alignment: Invisalign and clear aligners. Surgery: wisdom teeth and complex extractions. Implants: single and multiple, with bone grafting or a sinus lift where the jaw needs building up first. Endodontics: root canals, and re-treatment of canals that failed before. Gums: six-point pocket charting, non-surgical and surgical periodontal therapy, grafting for recession, then hygienist maintenance, with facial aesthetics alongside.

Technology

Root canals are done under a Global A1 operating microscope, which turns retreatment and hidden canals from guesswork into work. Imaging is on site: an OPG for a wide view of both jaws, and cone beam CT for planning implants, surgical extractions and difficult endodontics. Implants are placed with the Swiss Straumann system or the Korean Snucone, and the practice states plainly that it does not work with low-grade brands.

The clinicians

Periodontal care is led by Dr Pasquale Santamaria, Academic Clinical Lecturer in Periodontology at King’s College London, who coordinates an international study into saving teeth damaged by advanced gum disease. Implants and oral surgery belong to Dr Eleftherios Martinis (MSc Implantology, postgraduate diploma in sedation), with the practice for over nine years and the name recurring in patient accounts of sinus lifts. Two dentists, Dr Yijing Gao and Dr Yuqiao Liu, consult in Mandarin.
